Wuthering Heights

Lit_wuthering_greg_clarke_paintingDid Greg Clarke read the same version of Wuthering  Heights as the rest of us?

Clarke’s painting is part of an exhibit of art inspired by (you guessed it!) literature, and it is on display at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, CA.

As usual, there’s so much to see and think about on your blog.

I never made it through Wuthering Heights. So, it’s about a dog on fire?

I assume from the straight (angry) eyebrow and mouth that the dog is Heathcliff. I guess it would have been too punny to make him a cat.
I want to see a collection of art inspired by literature. Culver City, CA, you are a lucky town.
