    There is something so sad about abandoned amusement parks, kind of like the land of misbegotten toys in Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.

    Wow, that comment about the misbegotten toys was right on the money. There is definitely something mesmerizing about abandoned places where you can imagine what they must have been like in their prime while at the same time taking some perverse pleasure in witnessing the fallen angels in all their disturbing glory. Like a time capsule representing our lost innocence. It’s inspiring in its own strange way.
